ProgrammingThis forum is for all programming questions.
The question does not have to be directly related to Linux and any language is fair game.

In the authors comments he says he "releases it as freeware", but never actually says it is open source.
You might also note that his last comment (that I could find with a very quick look) was from 2010.

, so because of GPL it makes sense to inquire about the sources.
No argument here, just pointing out that is verbiage and the dates may indicate that if it is not already available, you may find that he is no longer in contact and may not HAVE the source!
Personally, I think it looks like something fun to build on and would love to have the source.
Luckily, the source and bin files are both available for download in the files area.

GPL necessarily implies source availability. I.e. the issue should be dealt with both the developers and sourceforge.
I did not see anything that looked like sources. Or are they inside the debs?
I wasn't looking for sources specifically. My goal was to show that programming in "human" language actually isn't such - there is defined grammar, and the grammar is context-sensitive.
I again suggest to ask about source the authors and sourceforge.
Inside the debian archives there is a source directory which contains some *.prg files which may be foxpro sources. But I don't see how he would have gotten ubuntu binmries from them...
Source
In the downloads lists for the Windows files, there are bothin binary and source packages.
I presume one source would serve all platforms, but that is an assumption. I have not checked, or even downloaded a src archive.
OK, I hadn't even looked under window section. I see some stuff in there that refers to delphi, so I guess one would compile such with lazarus. But, I'm not the 'one' to do that -we are legion.
Code:
I want edit window
set window title "We are back"
make title excited
you show window
I wanna 'nother window
set window title "P.S."
I want text say "Seems to maybe be Borland code"
make text 3 questions
show window
We are back!
P.S.
Source seems to maybe be Borland code???
After downloading and examining the files, it appears I was mistaken. The source files under Windows downloads seem to be for the IDE, not for the language itself.
