socket programming


i want to know how to use socket programming in order to implement chatting feature

If you want to do it in C++, this sounds like a job for Boost. Have a look at this: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_44_0...oost_asio.html

If you program in other languages, you should consider making a new post with more detailed information on what you try to achieve.
