Serial interface programming

Hi!

I'm working on programming the serial interface to read and write data between a mini-ITX running under Fedora Core 5 and a BrainStem Moto 1.0. Unfortunately, I'm new to Linux programming and this is really confusing. Worst of all, time is running out.

Does anyone have anything close? Or maybe a skeleton code that I can work on?

Help really appreaciated...

Thanks.
