QT is not a programming language itself. It's a toolkit, responsible for drawing windows etc. The QT designer helps you to build the gui for your application. The application itself is most times in C++, but there also exists QT bindings for other languages as java, perl, python etc.
For sample code have a look at all the open source projects working with QT (like KDE and related programs).

QT comes with good documentations in my RH8 I just do this.
mozilla /usr/share/doc/qt-devel-3.0.5/html/index.html

There are some of examples and tutorials over here.
