Problem with tty

Hi everybody
You know that the default mode of tty console os 80 * 25 .
I wrote an assembly program that works on 80 * 50 mode and i want to change mode of tty to 80 * 50 . so i used "stty" command as follows :

stty -F /dev/tty2 rows 50 cols 80

now tty mode is 80 * 50 but only 25 rows are visible. How can i adjust this problem and have 80 * 50 visible tty .

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

You could try issueing a "reset" command to see if that does it, other wise I think you will need to make the change a permanit change and logout and back in or restart the PC.
