problem of undefined reference to `__ctype_b'

HI,
i want to compile a third party library. But when i compare it ....it shows following error:

/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/lib/libclntst9.a(sl.o)(.text+0x405): In function `sltln':
: undefined reference to `__ctype_b'
/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/lib/libclntst9.a(kge.o)(.text+0x2b19): In function `kgespf':
: undefined reference to `__ctype_b'
/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/lib/libclntst9.a(kge.o)(.text+0x2d12): In function `kgespf':
: undefined reference to `__ctype_b'
...........

i try to search from google, i find that it may be the error of the glibc version. but i can't find the solution of that...

anyone has idea to solve this problem? thanks

I found a struct in /usr/include/xlocale.h which has a member called __ctype_b. This is in my emperorlinux system (kernel 2.6.12).

thx for ur help

i have solved the problem. I use a ctype.o compiling with the application, then the ctype linking problem can be solved. It is because the glibc version disconnect the ctype.
