problem in running pvm...

Dear geeks,
I've installed pvm rpm in Fedora6.
When I run pvm I got the following error.
Please help in this.
Code:
[maradnus@linuxbiit ~]$ pvm
libpvm [pid21863] /tmp/pvmd.641: No such file or directory
libpvm [pid21863]: Console: Can't start pvmd
[maradnus@linuxbiit ~]$
Thanks in advance

The file doesn't exist. Create it.
