PHP forum

Does anyone know of a good forum that can be easily put into my website? I need something that only handles the posting. I allready made a login system and all that, and I want a forum that I can tweak a bit to fit nicley on my site. Just want to see what is out there before I start to make my own. Im not looking for a big one like PhpBB, something small but efficient.

Small and efficient? PunBB and MyBB are but a few which come to mind.

Cheers,

if you have already taken the time to write the authentication functions for the site.. why not make it all yours and write the forum.. ?

anyhow thats what i would do

As xhi said, you might as well do it all yourself if you've come this far. Plus, I'm pretty sure there are no forums out there which don't bring a login system - what would be the point of them then? Without a login system, they wouldn't be forums...

Unless you're looking for some kind of shoutbox feature and tweak that because they do not require authentication.

Good luck,

-jk

you could always download one and then take out the login system, and adapt it to your system. or just take the forms/output stuff from the phpBB type system, and toss the rest.
