perl ...


is there a lcd() command in Net::FTP package for perl....
bcos i am using it & getting an error
"Can't locate object method "lcd" via package "Net::FTP" at ./connect.pl line 30."

this is how i make use of the cmd:

ftp = Net::FTP->new('100.22.12.202','Debug', 10);
$ftp->login('test4','test4');
$ftp->pasv();
$ftp->lcd(ftproot);


does any one knows whats wrong?

I don;t think so looking at the docs:
http://search.cpan.org/author/GBARR/....16/Net/FTP.pm

Not sure why you would wan't to right enough since you could get a listing of your local filesystem from within the script anyway.

You will want to cwd in perl before starting your ftp session, this is th only way I could do it using this package.
