Parsing RTP Header and Payload

Hi,
can somebody guide me of how I can parse the constant RTP header which I receive from my SIP Server. I went through some implementations but was not getting the exact (satisfying)information which i needed. So in case if one can share their knowledge about validating the received RTP Header, then it would be of great help.

PS: May be a small piece of example code can also do good.

Regards
Rakeen

Have you looked into an existing RTP library, such as oRTP, liveMedia or libnemesi?
