parallel programming

I need help with my assignment, I'm not familiar with C.:

P1 reads File1, processes information in File1 and puts it's result into a Pipe
P2 reads File1, processes information in File1 and puts it's result into a Pipe
P3 reads Pipe, processes it's contents and puts it's result into a File2

Please read the rules, homework-questions aren't allowed here.

I don't think that you would have received a C programming
question if you hadn't been expected to learn what you need
for your assignment. Re-think your strategy, do your work
yourself. If you run into actual problems with your code come
back and ask questions.
