Network lib for application layer

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a library to handle networking protocol implementation for me (like SNMP, MSP and etc.) the imlementation must be in C not C++.

Any advice on this manner will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,

You won't find a single library that does all of that. Each protocol tends to have its own API, generally defined by a standard library, and sometimes accompanied by one or more basic utilities, and some documentation, often as a man page. There are often bindings to various programming languages for each library. Invariably, there is C support for the most common networking libraries.
--- rod.

Thanks m8,
I'm searching for a library (C implementation is most wanted and C++ is also acceptable as long as I can work with it from C) that implement SNMP protocol, would appreciate it if anyone can direct me where can I find it.

Thanks again and regards,

Net-SNMP is definitely the library you're looking for.

It's easily available with most distros, for example:

Code:
yum install net-snmp net-snmp-utils net-snmp-devel
'Hope that helps!
