need a P-Tree (Patricia Tree) library

Can any one point me to any GPL'd Patricia Tree (p-tree) Library. I need this for implementing a routing table for a protocol suit I am writing. If such a library is already available it will save me some time insead of reinventing the wheel :-)

I know that there's the ptree utility (generates a hierarchical list?) under the ping toolset.
