get command.dos off another persons computer. Use a boot floppy to get to a dos prompt and copy over the new file to the c:\windows directory.

reformat and install linux...

i think this type of question being non-linux and definitely non-programming would at least need to go in the General forum.. where any questions are game.. but definitley a quesiton like this belongs or would get a better response in a true windows forum...

good luck..

rescue disks usually can do the trick in fixing that issue though.. if its still in the trash bin, you should be able to recover the original file..

There's only one solution: get a new friend.

I thought you moderator types could move threads. Or is that a Jeremy thing only?

our powers are limited, and we're just regular users outside of our own little domains... and i can't even get all these neat little admin options to work correctly... close works tho.

- actually, what i really want is a little troll-nuking button.
