Makefile:33: *** "Please define RTE_SDK environment variable". Stop.

I installed data plane development kit in my ubuntu machine using the following command

Quote:
sudo apt-get -y install dpdk
trying to execute the file http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk/plain/ex...loworld/main.c

but it is asking for environment variable.
searched in the Internet. But not able to get any correct value meant for ubuntu platform.

Can some one tell me what value I have to set for this variable....

As a start, find out what this RTE is, and have it installed on your computer.
