I installed data plane development kit in my ubuntu machine using the following command

trying to execute the file
http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk/plain/ex...loworld/main.c
but it is asking for environment variable.
searched in the Internet. But not able to get any correct value meant for ubuntu platform.
Can some one tell me what value I have to set for this variable....
