kernel fs statistics


Hi there,
I want some information about kernel timing statistics (file system). How can I get that?

I am not sure what you require,
but might be this helps :

try looking into
/proc/sys/fs
/proc/stat
/proc/meminfo

trying putting in what you require, might be you get a better response.

Is there any timing measurment system to measure each system calls.
and how much time is needed by each kernel function to operate.

Can I get this information without running a program or changing kernel?
