Kdevelop is slow


I was trying to compile "hello world" program on kdevelop and takes a lot of time, i dont know why, it used to compile faster, does anybody know how to make it faster.

Well, tell us what you changed. Do you mean that it compiles slower in KDevelop than in the console? We need more info.

KDevelop attempts to automize Gnu Make and the confiuguration procedure.

so of course it will take longer than:
cc helloworld.c -o hello

and for something that simple i would use a text editor and the command line (i would use it for everything but i can understand why an IDE can be nice in a very big project)
