Kdevelop

Hi,

I have been programming in the windows world, however i'm faily new in the linux environment, I'm having problems to VIEW the list of "member function" with the classes that I include in my project. For instance, when i do:

#include <kapplication.h>
and then further in the code I do:
KApplication object;
oject.(here I should see the list of functions)

If possible I would really like to know what it is I should do to be able to visually access those funciton, it make programming much easier, and much more time efficiant.

thanks in advance guys................

Sorry I might have forgotten a very important detail. I'm using kdevelop version 3.1.0 (using kde 3.3.0-5 Red Hat), which came with the fedora 3 that i have lately installed.

thanks

I don't believe KDevelop comes with such features. I'm just starting C++ programming in Linux myself. I've been using JBuilderX (free version) for Java programming and I absolutely love it. I've heard that they have a C++ environment similar to it -- something like CBuilder -- that has a linux version as well. It would probably have the feature you want. As for other IDE's... I don't know. As I said, I'm new to C++ in Linux.

Good luck! I'll let you know what CBuilder is like if/when I get it. Let me know if you find anything better.
