It is possible to change ksh script on a SUN into bash
Hi everybody.
Currently, Im working with some ksh scripts. I don't have experience on these. So I have to learned quickly. My questions are:
1) Im wondering if is it possible to translated and use this scripts into bash? (eventhoug it is on a sun sparc machine).
2) What are the pros and cont on using each one?.
3) Do you know any useful resource to learned ksh?.
4) What is the best tool or GUI to design these kind of scripts on a SUN?.
5) I hate the way ksh works. Maybe because I'm acustom to use bash and I know which combination of keys use on bash iit is any way to make the environment ksh like bash on the sparc sun machine?
Concerning the GUI I did a mistake I mean. IDE like for example I like to use KDevelop to created my scripts on bash or make programs, but I'm not quite sure if is there a good IDE to for KSH on a SUN machines.
