Question html code?

i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for this, but anyway:

is there a htmlcode or equalient to make a webbrowser open a .exe file as a html file and browse it, not download it?

the .exe contains nothing else but html, it is renamed to .exe from .html

open "a.exe" as html content (or something that will do the job!)
hope you understand the question / problem.

sorry for my bad english.

well i have no experience creating one, but i know that you can use a windows .dll to serve html.. i just worked on a project that involved shdoclc.dll on win98.. here is examples of how it can be used..

res://c:\windows\system\shdoclc.dll/http_404.htm
res://c:\windows\system\shdoclc.dll/about.dlg

everything after the .dll is the parameters.. there are several files in that dll that you can access this way.. im pretty sure you can also serve the dlls from a webserver on windows.. again i dont know.. good luck.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
