how to show services


hello

There are many services in windows,and then I think it is the same in linux .
Now I want to monitor and show services ,and how to do .

please give me some advice.

ps auxw

Type that at the command line. It will list every process running on the computer. They aren't necessarily all "services" (which are called "daemons" in the *nix world).

typing chkconfig (if you have it) will list all daemons running on the current run-level
