HI

I was doing some networking stuff when i encoutered this problem.

I want to do ssh from my computer to a remote computer and i want a dialog box to appear in response that asks for the password instead of asking the password in an xterm.

SSH is not a script, it's a full-fledged C program. You can build a QT/GTK+ wrapper around it, or perhaps you could find some GUI program out there already. But there's no way to just "edit" it.

Basically, you'd need to write your own ssh client. Though there's probably something out there: search for 'ssh gui' on freshmeat.net.
