How to make a first program using MinGW (.org ), in Linux for win32?

Hello,

I would like to help a friend with installing things. I could code a very little bit in C, and would like to learn a basic code or program, with file copy, exec, and mkdir.

Any simple example, tthat could be exported to windows?

Greetings
Debian user!

Please could you be more specific? What do you want exactly?

It seems you want to write scripts for windows, is it or what?

Cool C++ How To: installation setup and syntax

My suggestion: use Eclipse IDE.

Here is a very step by step with installation and setup instructions explaining how to configure the environment - for newbies:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/tips/C...lipse_CDT.aspx
Here is a tutorial on C++:
http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial

It should help you and your friend. Good luck and have fun!
