how to execute lex programs


sir i tried to compile a lex program ,the output was
LEX COMMAND NOT FOUND ..
so i tried to install it by executing
su<password>
yum install lex

the output was
NO PACKAGE LEX AVAILABLE

please help me..

Your Linux system will have flex, the GNU version of lex.

Also, yacc is bison in GNU versions.
