Unhappy How to display multiple bmps one after the other ina window


I want to display a series of BMPs /JPEGs after a gap of 30 sec each between any two image on the same window.
Could anyone please tell me how to c do this.
Any help will be greately appreciated.

Maybe use 'sleep' command?

sorry for not specyfying the q correctly.

I want to know how to change what is display ina window.More specifically if i display one jpeg file and after a sleep of 3 sec want to display another jpeg file how do i do this.
