Hay Carrumba!

Im using KDevelop to do some C++ code...

Normally I code on Windows using Visual Studio.

The problem Im having is that I created a directory using the KDevelop (Files) view.

First of all, it FORCES me to make a Library (shared or static) of all the files in the directory which I dont want to do!

Second of all, I cant figure out how to REMOVE a directory/library once created! If I remove the directory from the disk, then do a rebuild KDevelop RECREATES the Directory, and Library!

Geez

Nevermind, I figured a way around the library deletion... I had to MANUALLY, edit the kdevprj file to remove all references to the directories...

Sheez... there must be an easier way to do this.

What about the fact that it FORCES me to create a library in the 1st place? Is there a way around that? I dont want a library, I just want to put some code in a folder other than the project root!

I don't know the answer to that particular question, however I just wanted to suggest checking out the forums at KDevelop.org.

I looked through there a few months back for some answers to a strange (well strange to me) problem and there's tons of stuff in the forums.
