GTK horizontal list; help!!!

Hello people, I'm using GTK+ and Dev-Cpp and i'm having problems figuring out how to make a GtkList horizontal instead of vertical which seems to be its default. I can't find any suitable information concerning this on the net.
I couldn't much of anything browsing through Linuxquestions.org either.

Does anybody have an idea on how I could accomplish this?

Thanks

aXoneX
