Wink G++: How to set the include path

Hi all,

I am trying to compile C++ projects with gcc and got this error that says it couldn't find the header file.

I have lets say header.h within "proj/subproj"

I have this in my .tcshrc file
setenv CPATH /home/user/proj

Do I have to do any more setting that I didn't know of?

Thanks for reading this

Well, I've just discovered that this is because the filenames are case sensitive, it's uppercase in the include statement and the real filename is lowercase. But what I was trying to compile is a third parties, meaning there should be a way to compile it. Does anyone know how to tel the compiler to ignore the filename's case?

Thank you.

I don't think there's a way to make Unix case-insensitive...

Note, of course, you use the "-I" option with g++ to set include paths.

they probably compiled it on an OS that ignores filename case, e.g. windows

I have found out that I must download and use the Linux code version of this third party. As I compared both versions they are exactly the same. But the Linux version does compile without problem... I dont understand how but my problem is solved, so I just wanna let you know that and to thank you all for your answers.
