development under Suse


Hi,
For reasons need to develop under the Linux SUSE. What are the some available IDE/Non-IDE tools to use to develop Gui and c++ library projects under SUSE. Any suggestion on tools to use For GUI development?. How about visual studio Linux version?.

you can use your preferred ide, for example visual studio.
The very best tool is mine (and is called pvim, a personalized vim).

Therefore, revised my question.
As for Linux, visual studio with all its features that is available or visual studio code?? the second one is only for editing.

For GUI programs, you need a toolkit. GTK is the most popular, followed by Qt. wxWidgets is a distant third place.

It pains me to say it, after years of Linux, BSD, Unix and vim usage, but Visual Studio Code is an excellent choice.
it does have a 'vim' mode extension too.

If you want to pay for an IDE then have a look at CLion.
