Debugger, Troubleshoot tools Java and C in Linux.

I`m looking for tools to help troubleshoot and debug Java and C code. Like memory leak for example.

I need a complete and flexible solution. It cans be commercial or open source.

I'd like to know what is the standard in the industry and what corporation doing R&D under Unix environment use usually.

I've been told about gdb for C language and IBM rationale for Java, what else should I look into?
