Compile error

Hi all
I want to compile a package ( emulator 16), but I face with a problem in compiling.
the compile errors are:

'
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.4/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libtermcap.a(termcap.o)(.text+0x340): unresolvable relocation againstsymbol `ospeed'

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.4/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: final link failed: Nonrepresentable section on output
'

if any one can help me? what do these errors mean?
my distro is suse 9.2 and I have termcap library installed on my system, is there any problem with libraries? plz help me. I should compile it as soon as possible.

how can I make a gtk-config file

Hi,

I install termcap-devel & now my last problem was solved , but another important problem appears

I have not any gtk-config file. how can I make a gtk-config so that the "gtk-config: command not found" will be solved?

my gtk files are in /opt/gnome/ libraries, but programs use the header files in /usr/local/include .

Do you have gtk-config somewhere under /opt/gnome, or is it missing completely? If it's missing, you probably need to install another package (I don't know SUSE very well, but it's probably a package with a name like gtk-dev). Once you have it, try ./configure --help to see if there's a way to specify the alternate path. Usually you can do something like ./configure --with-gtk=/opt/gnome (or possibly set an environment variable, export GTK_INSTALL=/opt/gnome). I can't be more specific because I don't know that package, but the help should tell you.

Hi
Thanks a lot for your reply. I solved my problem mysqlf. gtk2 use pkg-config instead of gtk-config so I use below commands to found out the include directory of gtk:
"
pkg-config --libs gtk+-2.0
pkg-config --cflags gtk+-2.0
"
