Certification for Kernel Programming.

Hi everybody,

I know that we have RHCE for Red hat Linux Admin. I want to know that do we also have any kind of certification programs based on Linux Kernel programming or Device Drivers Programming.

I would be grateful to you all.

Thanks in Advance.

I dont think so... programming certifications are kinda rare. They seem pretty pointless to me, you can be a pretty crappy Java programmer and get certified if you hermit for 2-3 weeks and study the Java certification book(s).

If it does exist, cool - but I would say an online portfolio (professional looking one) showcasing some of your drivers with problem statements, test plans, algorithms and comments would get you a job in the field faster than a certification would.
