AMD64 Assembly porgramming guides ???

I have sevearal grat assembly programming guides, but they are all for x86.
I understand the materil, but i am unable to try out the examples, and tinker wih them on my Amd64.

they assemble, but refuse to link.

does anyone know of any good assembly resources for the amd64 ?
