We'll be glad to help you...post what you've written so far, and where you're stuck. But we're not going to write a script for you. You also need to post some examples of your data.

And there is no such thing as an "AIX script"...do you mean bash script? Csh script? Perl? Perl already has built-in modules to export Excel spreadsheets, and they're well documented and easily found on http://www.cpan.org.
http://search.cpan.org/search?mode=all&query=excel

Use Excel::Writer and Perl to grab your csv files, and write a spreadsheet.

AIX is generally ksh by default and does not have bash out of the box, but there are bash packages that can be installed. I usually stick to borne sh when I script on AIX.

I agree with TB0ne, a better language than a shell script would be necessary to write to an excel spreadsheet.

in open office just import the data from within excel
but there is a 65535 line limit ( i think ? it might have been upped to 163840 )

i used to use excel to convert a flat DEM ( digital elevation model ) that was converted to a CSV format into a 3d ".obj" model for blender
i now use a perl script

there is a handy tool in libreoffice/openoffice/ and MS office to import a csv into a spreed sheet

select a cell
then from the "insert" option on the menu select
" sheet from file"
open the CSV and in the window make sure that comma is use to delineate
then depending on the digits ( i use 32 bit float so they can be LONG ) auto adjust the cell width
