about GUMP

Hello:

I'm studiying about ANT and it's so great, it manages all builds and projects... however, at school I've been pointed to GUMP Jakarta project and I believe it's some sort of ANT or make or CVS but made for really big projects right?

I'd like to give it a try, I've studied the things at GUMP page and tried to download the source but I didn't make it....

any of you guys have any xperience using GUMP? opinions are welcome and appreciated
