Recommended Tutorial or Guide

Hi Guys,

Just want to ask if anyone would like to recommend a simulator or a tutorial guide for HP-UX (for beginners). BTW I'm a Linux user, and been using it for years, but I find a little difference with HP-UX. So it would be better to know it from the beginning.

Any recommendation will be appreciated.

Regards,
Gurl4sh25

Heh - I know what you mean. I've been using Linux for almost 13 years now, and when I tried OpenSolaris, I notice quite a few differences ("ps -ef" vs. "ps aux"?!?!?!).

I know for a fact I have far too much in the way of HP-UX documentation at home, problem is it's all in print, and it's definitely for an ancient version. If there's something in particular you're trying to do, post it on this thread, and I will try to get a reply to you as quickly as possible.

I've been an HPUX admim for years. I like linux but to some degree it has some catching up to do in certain areas. If you have a specific question I would be glad to help. Hp has it's own forum you should be able to link off of it at www.hp.com or look for ITRC. If you need more info let me know.
