hpux, putty, x display, oracle universal installer?

Hey i have to install oracle on an HPUX box - im unix savy, but not neccessarily hpux savy.

Whats the easiest way to get an x display going on a front-end windows box? I only need it for the install -

my questions are what software do i need on the front end; is putty sufficient or do i need an xserver like xming(do you recommend this one)

Do i have to connect to the backend through SSH (im not sure they'll have ssh enabled?)

whats the commands on the backend

export DISPLAY <IP>:0.0

where IP would be the front-end box?

TIA,

Boyd

Get this, burn it to a cd, then run it on your MS box. Once you get to the CLI, you need to type in

Code:
xhost +<IP of Server>
You will see a message stating that it has been added as an authorized server. Then, on you Unix box,

Code:
export DISPLAY=<IP of PC>:0.0
and enjoy. I have done this many times to install Oracle on our Solaris boxes, and can't see it being much different for HP.
