Nokia phones and Webcams for Simply Mepis 3.4.3

Hi Guys!

I am using Simply Mepis 3.4.3. I am looking for an equivalent Nokia PC Suite package to sync my Nokia 3230 mobile phone to Mepis 3.4.3 box. I've tried wammu but all I see is the signal strength from my mobile phone. I would also like to use bluetooth to connect to my laptop and sync contacts, messages, multimedia files and more.. I am also wondering if there are packages to make my Logitech Quickcam work in Simply Mepis 3.4.3? I've tried camstream but it doesn't seem to detect my webcam.

Mepis has bluetooth capabilities -- Search on bluetooth in synaptic and load the needed packages

In Mepis 6.0 there is a box for bluetooth in the setup screens - probably no more difficult to add the needed programs in 3.4.3 -- I do have a laptop with bluetooth and Mepis recognizes it no problem but I have no use for it

Mepis will detect most cameras as far as transferring photos etc. -- setting up as webcam is more difficult -- try digikam

You have asked a lot of questions in one post ;-)

Yep. Mepis can detect almost every camera. My USB Bluetooth works fine by installing kdebluetooth. What I need to do is to sync my phone into my PC. I am looking for the Nokia PC Suite equivalent package to sync my messages, contacts, calendars. Still no luck on the webcam. I've tried camstream but it seems it can't detect my Logitech Quickcam. THere is also a quickcam module on the synaps. Do I have to recompile my kernel?
