Unhappy 64bit RC1 is NOT installing to AMD64, did OK on C2D! Maybe DiskLabelType

Experimenting with 'GPT' vs 'ms-dos'. May be the cause of a failure to install on Asus G2K-A1 that ran b6 fine!
HD was diagnosed & low-level formatted, then partitioned w/ gparted to attempt solve

Last edited by digital8doug; 12-28-2008 at 11:40 AM. Reason: REFORMATTED HD AS AN EXPERIMENT w/ GPT. APPEARS MUST GO BACK IF USING WINDOWS 7 biuld 7000 (aka M-3)
