Mepis 7.0

I'm contemplating installing Simply Mepis 7.0 on my second disk drive in place of XP. My experience with Mepis in the past is that it doesn't recognize other Linux OS's and grub gets all screwed up. I have Suse 10.3 on my first drive. Can I install Mepis on my second drive and will it see Suse and put grub together w/o problems?

What might be easiest for you is to install grub to / "root" of the Mepis partition and do not write over the mbr, then go into YaST on your Suse and modify the boot menu there. Do not worry as long as you do not mess with your other os partitions Mepis is a good live cd to do grub repairs with.
