Mepis 6.5 Keno
Hi
Now using Mepis 6.5 version.
Have found that when I use Keno to import a Quick time mov video the Kino Import box flashes on but goes offSo can not convert video to mpeg
Have to use instead Mepis version 6 Keno
Keno in version 6 imports video and the export's video to a mpeg video to play on home dvd player
Have discovered that video quick time mov of 54.4.mb imported then converted to mpeg does not contain the full video footage as the orginal quicktime.mov Why is this?
Has any one had a problem using Keno in 6.5?

Are you using 6.5.00 or 6.5.02?

I would like to assume you meant 6.5.02; however, if there really is a 6.5.32, could you supply a link?
In any case, I was hoping that an upgrade would help.

There is a SimplyMEPIS 32 Version 6.5 and a SimplyMEPIS 64 Version 6.5. The updates to both releases is the update 6.5.02, which contains a few fixes. According to the MEPIS Web page, SimplyMEPIS 32 Version 6.5 includes the package: kino_0.92-1ubuntu2~dapper1_i386.deb
If you need that updated, and the standard update process doesn't take care of it, you can explicitly turn on additional Ubuntu repositories and get a newer version that way.
