GRUB and Win SATA boot

Hi, Im trying to set up dual boot with GRUB, but it wont boot windows wich is on SATA drive. MEPIS installed on IDE drive, Grubs on MBR of IDE. I suspect something is wrong with win entry in grub menu, ive tried many variations to no effect. Thanks for any input. Here is my Grub menu and fstab:

timeout 15
color cyan/blue white/blue
foreground ffffff
background 0639a1
gfxmenu /boot/grub/message

title MEPIS at hda3, kernel 2.6.10
kernel (hd0,2)/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.10 root=/dev/hda3 nomce quiet splash=verbose vga=791
initrd (hd0,2)/boot/initrd.splash

title Windows at sda1
rootnoverify (sda1,-3)
chainloader +1

title MEMTEST
kernel /boot/memtest86.bin

fstab file:

That rootnoverify line is certainly wrong - Grub won't recognise the parameter '-3'. But you need to tweak menu.lst a bit more. I have a similar setup - Win 2K booting off a SATA drive (sda1) and Mepis booting off an IDE drive. You need to fool Windows into thinking it's on the first boot drive. Try editing the Windows section of your menu.lst to -

title Windows at sda1
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
map (hd1) (hd0)
map (hd0) (hd1)
makeactive
chainloader +1

Glad to hear that's fixed it for you.
