Hi
Firefox 7 is my browser
Have downloaded Adobe reader 7 using a tarball installer Have a newly created Adobe directory but unable to install script
Firefox now shows Message when I try to download a PDF file
Could not locate Adobe Reader 7.0
Please make sure it exists in Path variables in environment Prefernce
If the problem persists, please reinstall the application
The question is Which version of Adobe Reader works with Mepis Firefox?
How is Adobe placed in Path for Firefox to locate it?
Have the File Adobe reader/Readme.htm on How to install adobe Reader etc but still require adding Adobe to path
Can you lead me up the right Path to boot PDF files
I fixed it by going to Synaptic then doing a search for pdf. I installed all the pdf readers and anything having to do with firefox or mozilla and pdf. Then it worked. I don't know why this version of Mepis is so crippled.
Hi Blueman2333

tried /usr/local
Need the Path for Firefox to add Adobe reader 7
