Hi there,
I've started using mepis and it is by far the most impressive distro I have used for someone like me. I want to make it a bit prettier on the desktop but I can't seem to compile and install themes.
I've been trying to compile Metal4kde and I run the ./configure etc..etc.. and I get this at the end of the make:
Code:
/usr/share/qt3/include/qdesktopwidget.h:48: error: field `
Metal4kdeButton::QConnection::~QConnection()::QDesktopWidget::metaObj' in
local class cannot be static
In file included from /usr/share/qt3/include/qapplication.h:43,

from Metal4kdeclient.cc:1499:
/usr/share/qt3/include/qasciidict.h:90: error: explicit specialization in
non-namespace scope `Metal4kdeButton::QConnection::~QConnection()'
/usr/share/qt3/include/qconnection.h:49: confused by earlier errors, bailing out

I have also tried using ./configure --prefix=/usr/include
but I still get the same messages. I can ususally work most things out for myself but this is a bit too crypic for me. Any help would be great,
thanks,
Draylath
