AntiX for the full announcement.
This is an exciting release. It now uses IceWM as the default window manager, continues to offer Fluxbox as another window manager alternative, both fast and effective. There has been a lot of excellent localization work done to make antiX available in more spoken languages.
The art work in this release is excellent and creative.
AntiX is a lot more than just taking SimplyMEPIS, cutting out KDE and replacing it with Fluxbox and IceWM. Many utilities are available from the MEPIS project, but AntiX draws from the sidux, Absolute Linux, and TinyME projects, plus the creativeness of its own community to come up with a very fast, effective, flexible system that is lighter on resource usage than a full featured desktop system, yet nearly as capable, and certainly as flexible, if not more so.
I highly recommend this distribution!
