Xfce and Mandriva

Hello, everyone, I'm thinking about installing mandriva again on my computer, a toshiba satellite a205-s5804, I like kde and all, but I wanna get xfce, as it is lightweight. Is there anyway to install it after i have already installed mandriva, (i don't want the unofficial xfce mandriva, I wanna be supported)
Oh and by the way I'm a bit of a newbie, I've used linux for a while but only for internet, and i never really installed many programs.
Thanks!

Open a terminal window and su to root, then run the following command:

urpmi task-xfce

urpmi is the command line package installer for Mandriva. The task-xfce package is a meta package that depends on the pacakges needed to run xfce on Mandriva Linux. When you execute the urpmi command above, you will be asked to install a LOT of additional packages. Do so, then log out from KDE. In the log on screen, click the options menu, then hover on the session type sub-menu to expose the xfce item. Choose it, then log in as usual. xfce will be the DE that loads until you choose a different DE in the log on screen.

HTH,
