where can i get cd4


anyone have a ftp addy for mandrake 10 official cd4? done some trawling around no luck...

thanx in advanced

I was not aware that there was a CD 4. I believe it states on the release on 3 cds. I've checked multiple mirrors and all only have 3 cd's for the download release. The powerpack that you have to purchase most likely has more CDs

yea i noticed only 3 on their mirrors however th install asks for cd4... i did a google and there were a couple of ftp sites that had it but they were protected (needed login)

thanx anyway for a rapid reply

CD4 was part of the pre-public release via BitTorrent to MandrakeClub Members.

It doesn't have any system important files on it so it really doesn't matter whether you have it or not. Everything on it can be picked up through the Software Manager. Why switch?

been with mandrake for a long time (1996) i've been thiking a change is as good as a rest... so this weekend it's a backup and install fest it's not gonna be that difficult as /home and /boot are on seperate partitions... no reason not to use both eh... anyway guys and gals thanx for the replies... there is one other thing that i'll ask in a new thread...
