were are all my icons in mandrake 9.2

ok heres the deal. I used UrpmI to install the latest patches and what not and all of the sudden no icons nor menu items work. Whats up with this. I heard someone talking about how to fix this problem but never wrote it down. Does anyone know how to fix this?

the same thing happened to me on mandrake 9.2 with kde and i still don't know what it was...

U guys r so crazy... do a search on the forum... it's a bug that is fixed if you update Mandrake. You can also change to root in the console and do an update-menus -v and it will fix your menu. If you screw up and do update-menus -v it as a normal user and all your icons disappear, just reboot and it makes them come back (it did for me anyways).
