version 9.1 screen and utf-8

Hi all,

I have just finished another install on a separate system using 9.1 but selecting both english and greek as the languages.

Apparently, 9.1 sets the system screen to utf-8 and this creates a small problem for me when using MC - midnight commander.

Does anyone know how I can make a at least a temporary change to normalize the screen display until I finish the system configuration using the system console?
