urpmi - installing package with no dep

How to install some Mandriva latest package without dependencies?

I tried urpmi kile, but it said me that i must install tetex or texlive packages. I don't want to install them.

"urpmi --allow-nodeps kile" not working for me.

I also don't want manually download kile rpm package.

.. Can kile be used for anything without Latex ?

I guess, the answer is no,
as kile is a Latex editor only.

Latex is provided by : tetex , texlive.

Of course no, but the latest latex version of texlive in repos is not texlive-2009, it is texlive-2007 and it have no some utilities that full texlive DVD have.

So, i installed texlive-2009 from DVD with usefull utility tlmgr and correctly wrote the $PATH to texlive bin directory(it has its own "latex" and other useful binaries).

And if it is possible, i want to try installing kile without dependencies.

OK, may be you can get around that by rebuilding kile
against texlive-2009 :

http://mirrors.evolva.ro/mandriva/of...2010.0.src.rpm
> > kile-2.1-0.b2.2mdv2010.0.src.rpm

rpmbuild --rebuild kile-2.1-0.b2.2mdv2010.0.src.rpm
( You will have to install kdelibs4-devel for the build.
Can be removed, when the build has finished.)
.....
.....
Setting up the ' rpmbuild ' environment in /home/"user"/
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...5.1-766486/#13
.....
